Short bioKatarzyna and Walenty had five children. Most of the relatives on this side of the Atlantic, such as Stella Lasica, never met them; they never visited Canada or the United States. Stella believes that Walenty (Valentine) worked for a time in Germany or Austria on a work permit. Walenty was born in Spie but he and his family settled in Nebrowo Wielkie, southwest of Kwidzyn, in northern Poland. Katarzyna and Walenty’s children are the second cousins of Joseph Lasica.
