NotesStepania is Joseph Lasica‘s first cousin once removed (so her children are Joseph’s second cousins).
After her husband died, Stepania immigrated from Sudoly, Poland, to Canada in the early 1980s with three of her children, Bozena, Joseph and John, joining her sister Maria and brother Adam Lasica in Toronto. Her other three children, Maria, Christina and Janina, remain in Poland with their families.
