NoteAccording to Roman Bloch, Franciszka Lasica was born in Donora, Pennsylvania, in 1912. We believe she moved to Poland with her father Jan Lasica and mother Katarzyna during the 1930s. Franciszka married Karol Ordon and lived in Korzeniewo, a town just west of Kwidzyn, in northern Poland, until her death in 2007. We are trying to find more information about:
• the names of her sisters or brothers
• her father’s date of birth
• the names of her sisters or brothers
• her father’s date of birth
In addition to her five children, we think she had three children who died very young:
• Helena Ordon (1946 – 1948 in Rozpędziny, Poland, near Kwidzyn)
• Kazimierz Ordon (born and died in Kolonia Dermanka Wołyń (this map suggests it’s in Ukraine but it was part of Poland in the 1930s)
• Bronisław Ordon (born and died in Kolonia Dermanka Wołyń)
Franciszka was Emil Lasica’s first cousin. We have been in touch with her daughter, Eugenia. We got the names of Franciszka’s children from Janina Sudol Lasica.
