Short bio Mary grew up in Sacramento, attended Loretto High School, and returned after graduation to teach art there. She earned her master’s degree in communication studies and began working for Pacific Bell as an education advocate, training teachers and librarians throughout Northern California on effective use of the Internet. She left AT&T in October 2010 and then began work helping high school and elementary school teachers in Walnut Creek connect the Internet to their students’ needs.
